Physical Therapist Assistant
Amy Fisher is originally from Corunna, Michigan. She currently works part-time in our Hastings First Rehab & Sport location.
Amy has taught dance since 1994. She took time off from teaching to have 4 children and has been teaching dance at Step N’ Time Dance Studio in Nashville, Michigan for the past 9 years. Amy’s love for physical therapy was ignited when she was injured on a trip to New York for a dance teacher conference. After working with the dance medicine and injury prevention professionals, Amy was inspired to begin a second career while continuing her first one as a dance instructor. She graduated from the Kellogg Community College Physical Therapy Assistant Program in the summer of 2020. Amy has work experience in skilled nursing and with aquatic therapy.
Amy now lives in Vermontville, Michigan with her husband and three sons. In her free time Amy is passionate about visiting her daughter in Holland, yoga, gardening, hiking, and spinning.
